Nourishment organised a Black Blood Drive on Oct 8 for Black History Month to raise awareness about conditions like Sickle Cell and Thalassemia.

Nourishment partnered with NHS Blood & Transplant to organise a group blood donation on Oct 8th, encouraging 12 first time and regular donors to donate blood with us for Black History Month. We also raised awareness about conditions such as Sickle Cell and Thalassemia which affect diverse communities. The donation with a group meal at a nearby restaurant in Westfield Stratford.

It was socially impactful in connecting new & experienced Black blood donors together on this occasion and documenting the process for our audience of younger black British communities.
